As His Majesty King Charles III took the solemn oath and was crowned King of England, Royal Pointe Hall watched and cheered on with pride and joy at a special viewing party fit for the occasion. Hosted by Lady Kimberly, an exclusive number of guests and Royal Pointe Hall staff were invited to the Hall to join in The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles. Located in Eastern Standard Time, guests arrived before dawn at 5:45 a.m. for the 6:00 a.m. coronation (11a.m. British Standard Time) dressed in their most comfortable pajamas. Even in the early hours, guests joined together in happy fellowship to commemorate this moment in history.

With the official liturgy in hand from the Church of England, guests followed along in real time and were able to witness the history, symbolism, and pomp and circumstance of this momentous occasion. Following the event, guests were treated to a delicious spread of Royal Pointe Hall breakfast classics, including Her Ladyship’s Signature Quiche, Scones with Clotted Cream, a luxurious fruit and imported cheese spread, a vast range of teas and beverages, coronation cake, and much more.

The Coronation Breakfast

“It was one of the most joyful days in a long time. Gathered with family and close friends, witnessing history, and thinking back to the over thousand years of similar coronations is both awe inspiring, and heartwarming at the same time. The prayers, the blessings, the anointing with holy oil, His Majesty’s chivalric pledges to serve his people, and defend widows and orphans, gave me a sense of comfort and wellbeing. Everything was beautiful and just about perfect.” – Lady Kimberly
