Royal Pointe Hall hosted their annual Twlefth Night celebrations earlier this month themed to a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace in honour of His Lordship’s Silver Jubilee. This grand celebration is the most exclusive event of Royal Pointe Hall’s holiday season with a total number of guests limited to only twelve (representing the twelve days of Christmas).

For the first time in Royal Pointe Hall’s Twelfth Night History, Lord Nathaniel retained his crown from the previous year, making him the longest reining Monarch of Twelfth Night. His Lordship decided to combine this historic event with another milestone, The Silver Jubilee, which marks his 25 years of excellence and life.

At the end of the festivities, Robert Landers was crowned as the next King of Twelfth Night after receiving the bean in a slice of Silver Jubilee Amaretto cake. “I’m humbled by the honour to serve as Twelfth Night King” said Landers. “I look forward to the collaboration with Royal Pointe Hall to uphold many of the cherished traditions and am excited for the opportunities to serve.”

Continuing a historic and symbolic Twelfth Night tradition, Lord Nathaniel held a private audience with His Majesty Robert Landers the following day and discussed matters related to the role as King. Following the meeting, Lord Nathaniel released the following statement:

“My confidence in His Majesty is complete and I know he will lead Royal Pointe Hall's Twelfth Night on to great achievements. When it comes to how to mark two years as your King, there is no guidebook to follow. It truly is a first. But I have been humbled and deeply touched by the love and support you have shown over these past two years. I take comfort in the fact, that in the relieving of this important and cherished role... I gain a new role as a wise counsellor... to whom His Royal Highness can seek for help and support in the days which lie ahead. May there be many of them.”

Preliminary preparations are already underway for next year’s Twelfth Night, which is slated for 5 January, 2024.
